Celtic’s James Forrest is a reported target for Liverpool.

Celtic had to sell striker Moussa Dembele to Lyon back in August, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that no more star players leave.
The Bhoys are bound to receive interest in Kieran Tierney, but tying Callum McGregor down to a new contract was a major boost ahead of the January transfer window.
Intriguingly though, another Celtic player is being linked with a Premier League move, with Liverpool believed to be interested in raiding the Bhoys.
The Scottish Sun report that Celtic winger James Forrest has become a target for the Reds, with an £8million move believed to be in the offing.
Forrest, 27, was once an injury-prone winger on the verge of leaving the club before Rodgers took the job in 2016, and he has been a star since.
In 34 games this season, Forrest has hit 11 goals and 17 assists for Celtic, whilst also grabbing five goals in just four international games for Scotland.

Forrest’s ascent would surely be capped off by a move to Liverpool, but the £8million fee seems incredibly low for a player of his quality.
Now, ex-Celtic striker and current pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to howl with laughter at the reports, suggesting that £8million isn’t nearly enough for Forrest, laughing off the rumour.
