Pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to react after Rangers snatched a last-gasp winning goal to beat Partick Thistle 2-1 at Firhill Stadium this afternoon.
After successive defeats to Old Firm rivals Celtic, Rangers were looking for a response as they made the short trip across Glasgow to take on neighbours Partick Thistle.
However, Pedro Caixinha’s men fell behind after just 14 minutes, as Kris Doolan put Partick in front with an early header, with the Gers looking disjointed in the early stages of the game.
Rangers did hit back late on as Barrie McKay equalised with seven minutes to play, before Joe Garner rose highest to head home the winning goal in injury time, handing Caixinha a 2-1 victory.

With European qualification on the horizon, this was a hue victory for Rangers, and they have even kept the pressure on Aberdeen in second place.
After the final whistle, pundit Chris Sutton took to Twitter to react to Rangers’ late fightback, admitting that it was a ‘good comeback’ from Caixinha’s side.

Sutton also noted that it was a ‘competitive Glasgow derby’, something of a dig at Rangers having been beaten regularly and sometimes heavily by Celtic this season.
