Neil Lennon’s Celtic were reportedly interested in Leicester City’s James Forrest in the summer transfer window.

Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his take on Celtic winger James Forrest.
The former Celtic striker was impressed with the display produced by Forrest during the Hoops’ 2-0 win against St. Mirren.
The 28-year-old Scotland international scored the second goal in the 54th minute of the match.
Forrest recently signed a new contract with Celtic, and Sutton – who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport – is pleased with the 28-year-old and has praised his “loyalty”.
Leicester City interest
Forrest was linked with a move to Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
It was reported by The Times that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers – a former Celtic boss – wanted to sign the Scotsman, who was valued at £10 million.
The winger has been on the books of the Hoops his entire professional club football career so far and has established himself as an important player in the team.
Celtic are aiming to win the domestic treble for the fourth season in a row and are also looking to progress to the knockout round of the Europa League.
