Celtic beat St Mirren 2-0 away from home on Wednesday evening.

Pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to praise Celtic for their 2-0 away win at St Mirren last night, with Timothy Weah and Ryan Christie impressing.
The Bhoys beat Old Firm rivals Rangers 2-1 on Sunday to close in on the title, but had to follow that big win up with another victory, this time on the road at St Mirren.
Neil Lennon handed a rare start to loanee Weah, and the United States international responded by putting Celtic in front on 15 minutes.
Olivier Ntcham then had a chance to put Celtic 2-0 up from the penalty spot, but his effort was saved, leaving the Bhoys to continue looking for a second.
Eventually it came, as Christie – back from injury as a substitute – popped up on 85 minutes to secure the win, inching Celtic closer to another league title.
A win over Livingston on Saturday may be enough, as Rangers would need to pick up at least a point at Motherwell on Sunday to keep the matter alive.

It’s all but done now, and pundit Sutton has taken to Twitter to praise a ‘comfortable’ victory for his former club, noting that Weah was ‘exciting’ and Christie is a player Celtic have really missed.
Sutton also condemned the Celtic fan who threw firecrackers onto the pitch around St Mirren goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky, admitting his concern about the recent spate of fan trouble in Scotland.
