Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to react to Celtic’s stunning victory over Aberdeen on Boxing Day. But the pundit only felt the need to include one other word along with the scoreline in his first tweet.

Brendan Rodgers’ men go into this weekend’s Old Firm clash at the top of the Scottish Premiership after an incredible seven-goal thriller at Pittodrie, that included five goals in the final 15 minutes.

Scott Sinclair had given Celtic a sixth minute lead before Stevie May equalised from the penalty spot midway through the first-half. And 1-1 was how the scoreline would remain until the 76th minute.

Sinclair put the Bhoys back in front before another penalty made it 2-2. Odsonne Edouard got his rewards for a superb performance after coming on in the 70th minute by scoring Celtic’s third.

Sinclair’s hat-trick-clinching goal two minutes later seemed to put the Hoops out of sight, but Aberdeen would ensure that it was a nervy few moments by making the score 4-3 in the 90th minute.

Obviously, Sinclair will take many of the plaudits, but Edouard was exceptional when he came onto the pitch. And Sutton praised both players for their displays in the important victory.
