Chris Sutton was impressed with the performances of Scott Sinclair and Manchester City-owned Patrick Roberts for Celtic against Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening.

Celtic returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening, as they got the better of Hamilton Academical 4-1 away from home.

The Glasgow giants headed into the match against Hamilton at the SuperSeal Stadium in Hamilton on the back of a 1-1 draw with St. Johnstone at Celtic Park in the league.

Brendan Rodgers’s side were expected to pick up all three points from the encounter on Friday evening, and they did exactly that courtesy of an easy 4-1 win.

Scott Sinclair scored twice for the Hoops, while Stuart Armstrong and Odsonne Edouard also etched their respective names on the scoresheet.

Patrick Roberts was the star of the show for Celtic, as the Manchester City-owned winger tormented the Hamilton throughout his time on the pitch.

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton was following the match, and he has picked two players for special praise – Roberts and Sinclair.

The Bhoys are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 13 points from five matches.
