Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s win against Kilmarnock on Friday evening.

Celtic maintained their strong run of form in the Scottish Premiership with a narrow 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park.

Stuart Armstrong’s goal in the 44th minute of the encounter proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and the Englishman has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Rugby Park on Friday evening, hosts Kilmarnock had 39% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Celtic had 61% of the possession, took 16 shots of which six were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 34 points from 12 matches.

The Bhoys are 13 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen and are firm favourites to win the title this season.
