Celtic are on course to complete the double-treble, but even their dominance of Scottish football has not been enough to win Rodgers the award.
The Celtic man missed out to Jack Ross, who has led St. Mirren to success in the Scottish Championship this season.
St. Mirren have won the Scottish Championship, and Ross was handed the award ahead of Rodgers.
The news came as a surprise to many, and former Celtic striker, Sutton, was certainly surprised.
Rodgers is yet to fail to win any domestic competition which Celtic have entered since he took charge at Parkhead back in 2016.
The Bhoys have already wrapped up the league title and the Scottish League Cup this season, and only Motherwell stand in their way of collecting an historic double-treble.
Celtic will take on Motherwell in the Scottish Cup final on the 19th May at Hampden Park.
