Celtic ensured that they would finish the weekend at the top of the Scottish Premiership with an emphatic victory.

Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to react to Celtic’s emphatic 3-0 win against Hamilton on Saturday, with Ryan Christie once again taking the plaudits from the former Hoops striker.
Brendan Rodgers’ men picked up where they left off before the international break. Christie broke the deadlock inside 13 minutes against Accies as Celtic put together an excellent set-piece routine, before the visitors made the points safe after the break.
An own-goal doubled Celtic’s lead with just over 20 minutes remaining. But no sigh of relief was needed for Rodgers’ men by that stage. The Bhoys dominated in a game where Hamilton failed to put a single effort on target.
Leigh Griffiths’ superb free-kick rounded off the win and ensured that Celtic will finish the weekend at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic have now won five of their last six games in all competitions and have conceded just one goal during that run. It was arguably the perfect result heading into Thursday’s Europa League tie with Rosenborg.
Sutton expressed his delight at the result after the game. The pundit commented on Griffiths marking his return with a goal, while Christie was the man that Sutton singled out for particularly praise following another outstanding performance in the middle of the park.
