Celtic racked up another win under boss Brendan Rodgers on Sunday afternoon, and broke a record in the process at Parkhead.
The Bhoys hammered St Johnstone 5-0 in the Scottish Cup, racing into a 2-0 lead as Scott Sinclair scored before Scott Brown stunned everybody with a remarkable long-range piledriver.
Returning winger James Forrest added a third in the second half, before Sinclair scored two more to complete a hat-trick in a thumping win for Celtic.
Celtic have won the Scottish Cup twice in a row under Rodgers and will be looking to make it three in a row with the Northern Irishman at the helm this season.
Sunday’s win also saw Celtic post a record, as they racked up a 24th successive cup win, with the Bhoys completely dominating in domestic competitions in recent years.
Unsurprisingly, pundit and ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton took to Twitter to congratulate his former club on the record, celebrating such a huge achievement.
Sutton will now be hoping that Celtic can go on and add a 39th Scottish Cup this season, though they may still have to face Rangers later in the competition, with the Gers facing a replay against Kilmarnock next week.
