Rodgers was speaking ahead of Celtic’s clash against St. Johnstone on Sunday.

Chris Sutton has delivered an immediate reaction on Twitter after Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed in his pre-St. Johnstone press conference that playmaker Tom Rogic would be missing for six weeks.
The 26-year-old missed the Old Firm derby in December to represent Australia in the Asian Cup, who reached the quarter finals before suffering a shock loss to the United Arab Emirates.
Rogic did not feature in the defeat to UAE, but did play in the previous fixture against Uzbekistan, which saw Australia progress on penalties. He lasted 111 minutes of the 0-0 draw, before the Socceroos won on penalties.
Rodgers delivered some bad news to Celtic fans, stating the Aussie playmaker would be sidelined for six weeks due to a knee injury, and had been to London to see a specialist and will undergo surgery.
“Unfortunately, he will be out for up to six weeks. He’s seen a knee specialist in London but we’ll be without him for a while,” Rodgers said, as quoted by BBC Sport.

Rogic has been in questionable form for Celtic this season, scoring only four goals and creating five more in 27 league and cup appearances but had regained some momentum before the Asian Cup.
Celtic legend Sutton reacted on Twitter to the news, Tweeting “bad news for Celtic” as the Hoops look to make it eight Scottish Premiership titles in a row – though Rangers and Kilmarnock are close behind.
