Chris Sutton has impressed with the performances of Celtic winger James Forrest this season.

Chris Sutton has praised Celtic winger James Forrest in The Daily Record.
The former Celtic striker has been impressed with the consistency in the game of the 26-year-old Scotland international winger, who earns £14,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.
Sutton has also stated that Forrest has stepped up in the wake of Scott Sinclair’s underwhelming performance.
The 29-year-old former Chelsea and Manchester City winger, who cost Celtic a transfer fee of £3 million when they signed him from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 according to The Guardian, has not had a great campaign on a personal level.

Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “Forrest is another who has shone. The consistency in his game is now impressive. He’s no longer a winger who has one good game and three average.
“His goal and assist numbers are fantastic and he’s taken the mantle left by Sinclair’s dip in form and influence.”

Stepping up
Forrest has been very consistent this season and has been one of the best players for Celtic.
The 26-year-old Scotland international has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 30 Scottish Premiership appearances for Celtic this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup already this season, and have also reached the final of the Scottish Cup.
