Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor seems to be rated highly by Chris Sutton.

The former Celtic striker has been impressed with the performances of McGregor for Brendan Rodgers’s side this campaign.
Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “McGregor has been a revelation. His performances for Scotland and in the Champions League have made folk sit up and take notice of his ability and temperament to perform on the biggest of occasions.
“In the Premiership he has been vital, slotting into different roles and playing all manner of positions in varying systems without his levels ever dropping. McGregor must be a manager’s dream.
“Ask him to do a job and he does it well. He’s not seen as a kid or a back-up option – he’s the real deal who delivers when it matters.”

Quality footballer
The 2017-18 campaign has probably been McGregor’s best on a personal level, as the 24-year-old has taken his game to a whole new level.
The Scotland international central midfielder has been very consistent, and has played well in the Scottish Premiership and in the Champions League.
In 31 Scottish Premiership appearances for Celtic, the 24-year-old has scored six goals and provided four assists, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Getting better
Working with Rodgers has seen McGregor become better, and given that he is 24 years of age, he can only improve and develop further.
The Scotland international has a lot of potential and is hugely talented, and he could become a legend at Celtic if he continues to win major trophies in the coming years.
