Former Celtic player turned football pundit Chris Sutton has showered praise on Scotland defender Kieran Tierney.

The 20-year-old has established himself as one of the top players for Celtic, and is already a key member in Gordon Strachan’s Scotland set up.

Tierney was excellent during Celtic’s Champions League clash against Anderlecht and received praise from Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Tierney is developing into a top-class player under Brendan Rodgers, and Celtic fans would love to see him stay at the club for a long time.

The young left-back is happy at the club, and plays with pride and passion. As such he is in no hurry to leave the club.

However, there is bound to be interest in the player from big Premier League clubs if he continues to perform at this level.
