Rangers get too many penalties in the eyes of many Celtic fans, and former Bhoys striker Chris Sutton has now joined in questioning the decisions.
The Bhoys had a fairly comfortable night, beating Hibernian 3-1 at Easter Road to close the gap to Rangers.
Over at Ibrox, Rangers had a much trickier night.
The Gers were 2-0 down to Aberdeen as Christian Ramirez and Scott Brown had the Dons in front.
Alfredo Morelos brought Rangers back into the game with a fine header before a late equaliser came.
David Bates brought down Fashion Sakala for a contentious penalty, which James Tavernier converted to rescue a point.
Sutton questions Rangers penalty
Some Celtic fans are growing tired of Rangers winning so many penalties.
The Gers were given spot kicks away at St Mirren and St Johnstone, turning those games to eventually win 2-1.
What’s interesting though is that Rangers have only been given one more league penalty than Celtic this season.
These arguments will go on and on, and pundit Sutton waded in with his own reaction.
Sutton tweeted just five words, stating ‘that’s the worst I’ve seen’ in response to the Rangers penalty decision.
It looks soft, though Bates did appear to have a tug on Sakala’s shirt. Whether that’s enough for a penalty is open to interpretation, and referee John Beaton felt it was on Wednesday night.
