Chris Sutton predicts who’ll win between Celtic and Glasgow Rangers

Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to take on Celtic at the weekend in the Old-Firm derby.

Chris Sutton has told BT Sport that he believes Celtic will batter Glasgow Rangers, when the two sides meet at the weekend.

Celtic are due to take on Rangers on Saturday at Parkhead, as they look to assert their superiority at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Celtic have finally shown some signs of fallibility recently, after their 69 match unbeaten run came to an end with a 4-0 defeat against Hearts.

But Sutton does not believe that Rangers will be able to repeat the trick of Hearts, and he predicts that Celtic will comfortably pick up three points.

“I think Celtic are in a different league. I think it’ll be a humping,” Sutton said.

Celtic do go into the Old Firm clash on the back of a victory, after beating Dundee 2-0 yesterday.

The Bhoys scored their goals at Dens Park through James Forrest and Leigh Griffiths.

Rangers, meanwhile, are in action later this evening – when they take on Motherwell.

As things stand, Rangers are 14 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table, and even if they do manage to get past Brendan Rodgers’ side their chances of forcing a title fight appear slim.
