Ibrox club Rangers will take on Glasgow Celtic in the Old Firm derby clash on Saturday.

Rangers will face Champions Celtic in the first Old Firm derby clash on Saturday at the Ibrox Stadium.

Irrespective of league position and time of meeting, the Old Firm is the one fixture to look forward to.

The atmosphere is generally electric when the two arch-rivals meet, and in terms of pride, passion and grandeur, very few derbies in the world can match that.

In recent years, Celtic have been dominant over Rangers, and last season, they defeated them 5-1 home and away.

The Bhoys have made a strong start to the 2017/18 campaign, and are top of the league with 16 points.

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premier League table with 11 points, and they have a good chance here to close the gap with their rivals.

Former Celtic player turned football pundit, Chris Sutton, predicts a 3-1 win for the Hoops against Rangers.

Rangers are missing several key players for this game with skipper Lee Wallace, Danny Wilson, are out through groin and calf injuries, respectively.
