However, there is another team who can claim to being the best promoted side – Newcastle United in 1993-94.
Newcastle finished third in the Premier League during the 1993-94 campaign after winning promotion and played some truly wonderful football.
Will Wolves be able to better than that this season, or at least equal it? Unlikely.
