The former Celtic striker was impressed with the performance of Ntcham for the Bhoys against Anderlecht away from home in Belgium in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The 21-year-old played well for Brendan Rodgers’s side, who picked up all three points from the Group B encounter courtesy of a 3-0 victory.
Sutton was impressed with the display produced by Ntcham and has hailed his character.

“Celtic spent a lot of money on him but they seem to have signed someone with a strong character which an take you a long way,” Sutton wrote about Ntcham in The Daily Record.
“It could be a big night in terms of Ntcham’s development. He showed courage and character along with the rest of the players that maybe shows Celtic are stepping up.”

Ntcham joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4.5 million.
The midfielder is very talented and promising, and the Celtic Park faithful will be encouraged by how he has performed so far.
