Glasgow Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is criticised by Chris Sutton.
The former Chelsea and Aston Villa striker, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has also criticised Rangers for getting knocked out of the Europa League qualifiers.
The Scottish Premiership club failed to get the better of Luxembourg side Progres Niederkorn in the Europa League first qualifying round.
The Gers won the first leg of the tie 1-0 at Ibrox, but the Glasgow giants lost the second leg 2-0 away from home to get knocked out 2-1 on aggregate.
Rangers headed into the tie as favourites and were expected to win over two legs, and their defeat came as a shock to everyone.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has criticised the Ibrox outfit’s result against Progres Niederkorn and manager Caixinha for taking too much.
Sutton told BT Sport: “It’s probably the worst result ever by a British team in European competition – that’s how bad it was.
“Do I have sympathy for Pedro Caixinha? No, I don’t and I will tell you why, because he does more of his talking off the pitch, or he has done since he has been in Scotland, and I think that’s a problem.”
Rangers endured a disappointing 2016-17 season as they finished third in the Scottish Premiership table. The Gers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the league title in 2017-18.
