Ntcham hasn’t always looked a good return for the money spent on him since joining from Manchester City last summer, but had an excellent end to 2017 and looks to have simply picked up where he left off.

Brown turns 33 in June and inevitably there was talk about whether Hib’s McGinn could be the long-term successor, but on the back of this it looks like Ntcham could step into that role in the long term.
