Celtic snatched as last-gasp winner against Dundee this afternoon.
Celtic moved another step closer to clinching the Scottish Premiership title this afternoon with a 1-0 win over Dundee.
The Bhoys travelled to Dens Park with many expecting a win, having only managed a 0-0 draw with Aberdeen last weekend.
Celtic toiled away against Dundee and, despite having all of the ball and a host of chances, they couldn’t grab the opening goal.
Deep into a bizarre six minutes of added time, Celtic finally unlocked the Dundee back line, with James Forrest hitting the byline and cutting back for Odsonne Edouard to score.
With just seconds left on the clock, Celtic grabbed their win, and move 10 points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, placing one hand on the title at this point.
With the Old Firm derby to come after the international break, Celtic can all but win the title by the end of the month, with today’s victory a huge one given their poor display.
Pundit and ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton has now taken to Twitter to react to the performance, suggesting that it was ‘ugly’ but the three points were all that mattered.
As Sutton noted that ‘sick buckets’ will be out across Glasgow, he did raise a major concern, and that’s that Celtic have lacked a real centre forward all season, seemingly feeling that Edouard drifts wide too often.
