Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers chairman Dave King is compared to Basil Fawlty by Chris Sutton.

Sutton is not impressed with the way Rangers have gone about finding a permanent successor to Pedro Caixinha as the Ibrox club’s manager.
The Gers recently got snubbed by Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes and then released a statement on their official website suggesting that the Scotsman could not handle being in charge of the Glasgow giants.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has mocked Rangers manager King, comparing him to Basil Fawlty, the main character of the British sitcom Fawlty Towers who is very iconic and famous.

“It’s a circus, it really is,” The Scottish Sun quotes Sutton as saying. “This is a club and a chairman who didn’t even meet Pedro Caixinha before they gave him the job. He was the equivalent of Basil Fawlty.”

Rangers have taken way too long to make a move for a manager, and now that they have been snubbed by McInnes, the process begins all over again.
Encouragingly for the Gers, though, results on the pitch are doing well, with the Ibrox club having won their last three Scottish Premiership games.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment, and fans must be pleased with what Graeme Murty is doing.
