Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers did not win any major trophy this season.

Chris Sutton has mocked former Ibrox defender Hugh Burns’s comments on Rangers on Twitter.
Burns, who played for Rangers in the 1980s, has told The Daily Record just how Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has positively affected the Scottish Premiership club this season.
The former Rangers defender believes that there are smiles on the faces of the Ibrox faithful, and there is positive energy at the club.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has mocked Burns’s comments on Twitter, and has pointed out Rangers’ lack of trophies this season.

Progress
Rangers may have failed to win any major silverware this season, but there is no doubt that the Gers have progressed under Gerrard.
Under the former Liverpool midfielder, Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership behind champions Celtic.
The Gers also featured in the group stage of the Europa League, and their football at times was brilliant to watch.
True, there is a lot of work to be done for Rangers to catch up with Celtic, but the Ibrox club are definitely on the right path.
