Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata is reportedly on Lazio’s radar.

Boyata is part of the Belgium squad for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia this summer, while Tottenham star Kane will lead the line for the England at the competition.

Sutton suggested that if the 27-year-old central defender – who costs the Hoops £1.5 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Manchester City in the summer of 2015, according to BBC Sport – does well against Gareth Southgate’s side and against Kane in Group G, then there could be interest from England in him.

The former Celtic striker seems to have got it right about the defender – well, almost. According to Radiosei, Italian club Lazio are interested in signing Boyata in the summer transfer window and will keep tabs on him at the World Cup.
Perhaps clubs in the Premier League and in the Championship in England will also follow suit and monitor Boyata, who could emerge an important player for Belgium at the World Cup.
