Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to make another comment on the form of Mohamed Salah, after his odd claim about the Liverpool man last week.

What’s the story?

Well, Salah had incredibly scored nine goals in his last seven Premier League games before last week’s 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Before that match kicked off, Sutton made the bizarre claim that the 29-year-old’s goals would dry up, and those who had him as their Fantasy Premier League captain should change things.

Given his phenomenal run, that was a very odd thing to say, but it came true as Salah failed to score or assist against Brighton.

Now, Sutton has made another comment, again telling those with the 71-cap Egypt international as their captain to get rid of him.

You can see the former Chelsea striker’s tweet in full below.

According to Sutton, you’re among the ‘dullest’ Fantasy Premier League players if you keep Salah in your team.

Mohamed Salah surely won’t suffer Liverpool dip

With 15 goals and six assists in 14 appearances this season, Salah has performed far too well to suffer any sort of dip.

The Liverpool No.11 has been so good this season, that even a dip in form would still see him playing better than some of his Premier League colleagues.

Yes, West Ham and Arsenal are tough fixtures for Salah in his next two Premier League games, although it’s nothing he can’t handle.

After that, the Reds face Southampton, Everton, Wolves, Aston Villa and Newcastle, so you’d be crazy to remove him from your Fantasy Premier League team.

Sutton may have been proven right once, but we can’t see that lasting.

If Salah draws another blank against West Ham tomorrow, we may have to ask Sutton for the lottery numbers.
