Tottenham Hotspur have their work cut-out, if they are to finish inside the top four this season.

Chris Sutton backed Tottenham to finish in third spot this season, when speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, suggesting that he has faith in Mauricio Pochettino’s ability to ‘snap’ his side out of their miserable run of form.
Spurs have taken just one point from their last four Premier League outings, and they are now just one point ahead of fourth placed Arsenal, three clear of fifth placed Manchester United, and four in front of sixth placed Chelsea.
How quickly things have changed.
It was only just over two weeks ago when Tottenham could have closed the gap at the top to just two points with a win over Burnley – a game that they subsequently lost.
Spurs now have a real battle on their hands if they are to finish inside the top four, but Sutton told the Daily Mail how he has faith in the north London outfit, predicting that they will finish in third spot:

“It will be tight but I’m backing Pochettino to snap Spurs out of their tough run.”
Next up for Tottenham is a tough trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool, and if they lose to Jürgen Klopp’s side, alarm bells really will start to ring for the north London outfit.
