Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic did not lose a single game in Scotland last season.
Celtic enjoyed a remarkable season in 2016-17, as they won the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
Brendan Rodgers’s side also progressed to the group stage of the Champions League during the 2016-17 campaign.
What was stunning about Celtic’s domestic campaign was that they did not lose a single match – not in the Scottish Premiership, not in the Scottish Cup, not in the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic remain the strongest team in Scotland, and will once again be favourites to clinch the Scottish Premiership title next season.
The Glasgow giants will also be expected to claim the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup in 2017-18 as well.

Former Celtic striker Sutton, though, does not believe that the Hoops will go through the entire 2017-18 campaign unbeaten.
“If I am being honest, I don’t believe that Celtic can go this next season unbeaten domestically,” said Sutton on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Saturday morning (broadcast from 7am, July 22, 2017). “I just don’t. It’s a tough thing to do.”

Celtic will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Rosenborg BK in the first leg of the Champions League qualifying third round.
The Hoops will have to win by a good margin at Celtic Park in order to give themselves a strong chance of progressing from the tie, with the second leg to be held in Norway next month.
Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila, who is from Norway, has given his thoughts ahead of the tie.
“Celtic are big favourites,” Deila told Sky Sports. “But at the same time Rosenborg is a team with a lot of tradition and they have everything to win in this tie.
“Also, they are in the middle of their season and they should be in the best shape so that is an opportunity for them.
“Rosenborg have done everything to gear up for this game over the months so it is an advantage for them.”
