Celtic beat AIK 2-0 in the Europa League this evening.

Celtic have one foot in the Europa League group stage after beating Swedish side AIK 2-0 at Parkhead this evening.
On the night that Celtic re-signed Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster, the Bhoys had great on the pitch with a comfortable win.
After a goalless first half, Celtic did go in front as James Forrest continued his fine start to the season with the opening goal.
Odsonne Edouard then secured the 2-0 win, scoring on 73 minutes to give Celtic a strong advantage heading into the second leg in Sweden.
Having suffered disappointment against CFR Cluj in the Champions League, it was important that Celtic avoided disaster tonight, and they did just that.

Chris Sutton took to Twitter after the game to react to the win, claiming it was a ‘good performance’ from the Bhoys, praising Edouard and new signing Jullien.
Fellow pundit and ex-Bhoys striker John Hartson also offered his view, believing that the tie isn’t over just yet, but praised the players for a great response to a tough week.
