Glasgow Rangers stormed to a 5-1 at Ibrox at the weekend to move up to second in the Scottish Premiership.

Chris Sutton has announced his Scottish Premiership Team of the Week on Twitter and has included Scott Arfield and Alfredo Morelos in the lineup following Rangers’ stunning win, while Steven Gerrard has also been named as the team’s manager. There was also an inclusion for Villa loanee Aaron Tshibola following Kilmarnock’s brilliant victory.
It was a fantastic week for the Gers. A superb point from their Europa League tie with Villarreal in midweek was followed by an emphatic victory over St Johnstone on Sunday.
Five different goalscorers helped Rangers to a 5-1 win that lifted Gerrard’s men up to second in the table after Kilmarnock beat Celtic 2-1 earlier in the day. An impressive performance from Villa loanee Tshibola at Rugby Park helped inspire the win for Killie and led to his inclusion in Sutton’s side.
Two of Rangers’ goalscorers in their clash were Morelos and Arfield. Morelos’ goal ended his decent run without finding the back of the net – it had been more than a month since his hat-trick against Killie in the League Cup – and the strike undoubtedly saw the Colombian provide a reminder of his quality.

The 22-year-old danced past the defence inside the box before drilling the ball home, while Arfield’s goal would have certainly put the game beyond doubt in the early stages of the second-half.
And both men were rewarded for their contributions in Rangers’ win with inclusions in Sutton’s Team of the Week, while Gerrard himself was also recognised by the pundit.
