The Tottenham Hotspur hitman scored a hat-trick on Saturday.

Writing in The Daily Mail, Chris Sutton has described Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane as a ‘phenomenal finisher’ and believes that he’ll break Wayne Rooney’s England record.
The Spurs hitman scored a hat-trick in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Bulgaria in Euro 2020 qualifying.
In doing so, the Tottenham man made it to 25 goals for the Three Lions and moved within five of Alan Shearer’s international record.
He has a ways to go before he beats Rooney’s haul of 53, but he’s still only 26 and Sutton believes that he could yet smash that record.
He wrote in The Daily Mail: “Harry Kane will surely break Wayne Rooney’s England record of 53 goals. Looking at the other teams in Group A, Kane could pass that total [Shearer’s record] by the end of Euro 2020 qualifying.
“The 26-year-old is a phenomenal finisher. His game is not based on pace. Two of his three goals at Wembley came from the spot, but the fact that Kane admitted he takes up to 50 penalties in a practice session shows how meticulous he is.”
Kane is indeed the most gifted English goalscorer of his generation and his record for Tottenham reflects this.
In 185 Premier League games, Kane has managed a superb 128 goals and fitness permitting, he should definitely beat Rooney’s total in an England shirt.
Sutton criticised the Spurs man last week and accused him of diving to win a penalty against Arsenal[BBC Radio 5 Live], but now he’s certainly making headlines for the right reasons again and few would back against him to find the net against Kosovo tomorrow night.
