Celtic beat Partick Thistle 3-1 at Firhill on Saturday.

Celtic survived a bit of a scare to beat Partick Thistle 3-1 this afternoon and reach the next round of the League Cup.
Leigh Griffiths had given Celtic the perfect start by firing Brendan Rodgers’s side ahead on 18 minutes.
The Hoops spurned one or two chances to extend their lead and were made to pay on 73 minutes.
Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo equalised for the hosts to increase the likelyhood of it being a miserable week for Rodgers’s side, who were dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday.
But Moussa Dembele – who replaced Griffiths on 65 minutes – restored their lead shortly after, before Tom Rogic made sure of the victory by adding a third just two minutes later.
Such a result arguably illustrated just why Celtic have won back-to-back domestic trebles under Brendan Rodgers.
And club legends Frank McAvennie and Chris Sutton echoed those sentiments on Twitter afterwards.
