Writing in The Daily Mail, Chris Sutton has rubbished suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane is struggling for form.

The Spurs striker has managed 11 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions for the North Londoners this season, as well as scoring once for England.

Nevertheless, there have been suggestions that the 25-year-old, who scored over 40 goals last term, does not look quite as lethal as he has done in years gone by.

But former Blackburn and Chelsea marksman Sutton, writing in The Daily Mail, believes that if those statistics portray an out-of-form striker, then how good could Kane be when he is in form?

“It makes me laugh when people say Kane is out of form. If scoring 12 goals in 23 games for club and country counts as a poor start, then heaven help the rest of the Premier League when he hits his peak!

“He is the ultimate all-round forward. He scores with both feet, his head, is lethal in the box and deadly from distance.”

Tottenham fans wouldn’t say no to a Kane masterclass tomorrow.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side visit North London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates. It’s a fixture that Kane almost specialises in at this point, having scored seven in eight games against the old enemy.

It’s a fantastic record and the Argentine manager, along with every Spurs affiliate, will be hoping that he shoots down the Gunners again.
