Napoli were awarded a controversial spot-kick during their opening group game victory against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Chris Sutton has slammed the actions of Jose Callejon as he accused him of diving during Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The former Premier League striker did, however, praise Liverpool goalkeeper, Adrian, for his brilliant point-blank save when he stopped Dries Mertens volley from hitting the back of the net.
Sutton continued to make the point that it was a ‘clear and obvious’ error regarding the decision to award Napoli a penalty, with Callejon, 32, coming in for some flack by the away supporters.
In the second period, referee Felix Brych judged that Robertson had fouled Callejon in the area after he cut onto his left foot – Mertens would go on to convert the spot-kick, with Fernando Llorente adding a second in stoppage-time.
Here are the series of messages that were put out by Sutton regarding Callejon and Adrian, as posted on his personal Twitter account.
Whilst Liverpool’s overall performances wasn’t what was expected of them, they will only see this result as a minor setback and something they can bounce back from.
On a positive note, they have started off the Premier League campaign in fine fashion by winning their opening five matches, but could that come to an end at the weekend?
The Reds will take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, whose youngsters have been shining this season, with striker Tammy Abraham currently the joint top-scorer in England’s top-flight, along with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
