Celtic great Chris Sutton has taken yet another swipe at Glasgow Rangers fans for celebrating a point in the Old-Firm derby so vehemently.

Rangers scored a late equaliser at Parkhead, when Clint Hill poked home from close range and it sparked wild celebrations in the away end and on Twitter.

Controversial pundit Sutton took some stick from Rangers fans, who were quick to show their joy to him, as he has regularly criticised the Ibrox side throughout the campaign to date.

However, the former Bhoys striker has suggested that it shows just how far Rangers have fallen that they are now celebrating a draw against their Glasgow rivals.

Rangers had lost all three of the Old-Firm derbies that have taken place this season prior to yesterday’s game, but they put in a spirited performance at Parkhead.

Celtic took the lead through Stuart Armstrong, but Rangers did not allow their heads to drop, and were rewarded with Hill’s goal.

Rangers’ players needed to impress, as new manager Pedro Caixinha was an interested spectator in the stands.

Caixinha will take charge of his first Rangers’ match next weekend, when they take on Hamilton.
