Chris Sutton says Aberdeen could have done a better job against Apollon than Everton if they had the same investment.

Former Premier League title winner Chris Sutton says he feels Aberdeen would have done a better job against Apollon Limassol than Everton if they had the same investment.
Everton drew 2-2 at home to the Greek side in the Europa League on Thursday night, conceding a late goal to deny them the win.
Apollon were good value for the draw, and pundit Chris Sutton had a negative view of Everton’s performance.

Aberdeen were knocked out in the qualifying rounds by Apollon Limassol, losing 3-2 on aggregate.
Sutton believes that if the Scottish side had the same investment which Everton did, then they would have given a better account of themselves than the Toffees.
Aberdeen did actually do what Everton could not, winning the home leg 2-1 of their qualifier.
Only a 2-0 defeat prevented them making it to the group stages.
Everton have now gained just one point from their opening two games, and manager Ronald Koeman is under increasing pressure after a similarly slow start to the Premier League season.
