Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic reportedly want Vakoun Issouf Bayo in the January transfer window.

According to The Daily Star, Celtic are interested in Bayo from Dunajska Streda in the January transfer window and have made a £2 million bid for the 21-year-old forward.
Former Celtic striker Sutton seems to have doubt on the youngster.
Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “Celtic are chasing Vakoun Issouf Bayo but it’s hardly an inspiring target.
“Even his own manager at Dunajska Streda says he’s a raw prospect with a dodgy first touch and a struggle with tap-ins.”

Risky signing for Celtic
Bayo is a talented and promising young forward who can develop into a brilliant footballer in the future, but it is clear that the 21-year-old is raw at the moment and needs to learn and develop further.
While Celtic do need strikers for the second half of the season, having just signed 18-year-old Timothy Weah on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, the Hoops should be looking to sign someone with more experience and someone who is more established.
Celtic are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and are also in the round of 32 of the Europa League.
