Celtic may have conceded three but still managed to impress.
Celtic’s Craig Gordon
The matter of who plays in goal for Celtic has been a point of contention in recent weeks, with neither Dorus de Vries and Craig Gordon particularly convincing.
They have combined to concede 10 goals in two Champions League matches, with Gordon featuring in the 3-3 draw at home to Manchester City last night.
Yet his three conceded do not tell the whole story, because if it had not been for his saves, it could very easily have been more.

He produced an excellent save late in injury time to deny Manchester City a winner, and his efforts were praised by former Celtic striker Chris Sutton, who had been critical of him in recent weeks.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Sutton said: “I’ve hammered Craig Gordon all season, but he made an unbelievable save at the end.”
Gordon’s efforts should be enough to see him retain the number one jersey for this weekend, when Celtic travel to Dundee.
Sutton also praised Celtic captain Scott Brown, stating: “Brown was written off last season by a lot of people. He led from the front tonight.”
