Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is an important player for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Steven Gerrard’s Rangers team.
The 22-year-old striker has scored nine goals in the Scottish Premiership and two in the Europa League for Rangers so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The Colombia international, though, has disciplinary issues and was sent off against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership game at Ibrox – his eighth red card of the season.
Former Celtic striker Sutton does not think that Rangers should sell Morelos, but he has urged the youngster to sort out the disciplinary problems.
Morelos told BT Sport when asked if Morelos should be sold by Rangers: “No, he shouldn’t be sold, but he has got to sort himself out. Idiotic.”

Important player
Morelos is the number one striker at Rangers, and the Colombian has been superb for the Gers since joining in the summer of 2017.
However, it is clear that the 22-year-old needs to sort out his disciplinary issues, as missing games is not going to help anyone.
Rangers are challenging for the Scottish Premiership title and could also progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season.
