Celtic are on the verge of securing eight Scottish Premiership titles in a row.

Chris Sutton has claimed that Jozo Simunovic can be Celtic’s main centre-back in years to come as he praised Neil Lennon for showing ‘real belief’ in him.
The BT Sport pundit agreed that Simunovic’s days were ‘numbered’ at Parkhead previously because he was doubted by the recently departed Brendan Rodgers.
Simunovic was the hero for Celtic on Saturday afternoon when he scored the only goal of the game for his side during their 1-0 win over Kilmarnock.
Speaking to BT Sport (28/04/2019), Sutton spoke about Simunovic and how the fortunes have turned for the 24-year-old since his time under Rodgers.
Can Simunovic be Celtic’s main CB: “Yes,” Sutton told BT Sport. “Neil Lennon has shown real belief in him. I felt there was a player there but the issue with Simunovic is that he’s had big injury problems.
On being Doubted by Rodgers: “Yes, it looked like his days were numbered at Celtic, but it looks like he’s here to stay and fair play to him.”

Simunovic hasn’t played too many Scottish Premiership games this season because of injuries or the fact that he has played back-up when the previous manager was walking the Parkhead touchline.
But still, on Saturday, he played a decisive role in edging his team closer to eight-in-a-row when he scored a headed goal against Killie.
Neil Lennon’s side are 12 points clear at the top of the table and if Rangers fail to beat Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon then the Bhoys’ title will be confirmed.
