Chris Sutton has raved about Arsenal and England international winger Bukayo Saka.

The former Chelsea striker has said on BBC Radio 5 Live (7:43pm, March 27, 2023) that Saka is the best right winger in the world at the moment.

The BBC Sport pundit has noted how much the 21-year-old Arsenal player has improved.

Sutton has added that the youngster will get even better in two or three years’ time when he develops physically.

Saka has scored 12 goals and given 10 assists in 28 Premier League matches so far this season.

Last season, the England international winger scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League.

Chris Sutton praises Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka

Sutton said: “Saka has been the outstanding right winger in the Premier League.”

The pundit added: “His decision-making, I think, has really improved. His numbers have improved in terms of goals and assists this season.

“He is playing with such a clear mind. And to think he is 21. Just imagine, you know, two or three years, he wouldn’t have physically developed just quite yet, that will still be ongoing. His skill-level is off the scale this season.”

HITC Verdict: Top-class player

In our view, Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in the world and is a key figure at Arsenal.

The winger scores goals and creates chances, and he plays consistently well.

And Saka is very humble as well.

For someone who is only 21, it is remarkable just how consistent he is, both for England and for Arsenal.

We believe that Saka will become a world-class player in the coming years if he continues to improve and develop.
