BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has raved about Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
The former Chelsea striker has said on BBC Radio 5 Live that Alexis Mac Allister, who joined Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window, is “a top-quality player”.
Mac Allister moved to Liverpool from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2023.
Praise for Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister
According to The Guardian, Liverpool paid Brighton £35 million in transfer fees for the 24-year-old midfielder, who is getting paid £150,000 per week (Spotrac) at Anfield.
The 24-year-old, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina, has made four appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season.
Sutton said: “Mac Allister, a top-quality player.”

We believe that Alexis Mac Allister is a very good signing for Liverpool.
Mac Allister did well during his time at Brighton and Hove Albion and knows the Premier League inside out.
The midfielder also played a big role for Argentina in their World Cup success in Qatar in 2022.
And he is only 24.
Under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff, Mac Allister is only going to improve and get better.
Mac Allister has made 102 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The midfielder has scored 16 goals and given five assists in those games.
Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
And we believe that Mac Allister will play a big role in that quest for the Reds.
