Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to clinch another Scottish Premiership title, but the likes of Kilmarnock will be looking to stop them.

Chris Sutton believes Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke has the capabilities of being the Celtic manager if Brendan Rodgers were to leave his role anytime in the future.
In October 2017, Clarke was named Killie boss and since his appointment, he has pushed them up the table as they are now fighting for the Scottish Premiership title.
When former Celtic man Sutton was asked whether Clarke can replace Rodgers one day, he backed the 55-year-old to take the hot seat if it were to become available.
“Steve Clarke has done a fantastic job at Kilmarnock,” Sutton told BT Sport. “So if that happens [Rodgers leaving], he will be linked Steve Clarke, won’t he?
“Would I have him as the next Celtic manager? I think with the job he has done at Kilmarnock, why not?”
At this moment in time, Celtic are sitting top of the Scottish Premiership table, three points ahead of second-placed Rangers and third-placed Kilmarnock – but crucially the league leaders have a game in hand on their rivals.
Over the course of the season, Clarke has picked up a number of impressive wins, most recently they beat Steven Gerrard’s Rangers 2-1 after the Scottish Premiership’s return from the midwinter break.

During his career in England, Clarke has managed in the Premier League with West Brom and in the Championship with Reading.
Added with that, he has been on the coaching staff for Chelsea during their Premier League title triumphs and at Midlands giants Aston Villa.
Of course, Rodgers has also managed south of the border, with his most famous spell coming when he nearly guided Liverpool to the Premier League title.
