Rangers take on Celtic today in the Old Firm derby. Unlike when the pair faced each other in the Scottish Cup semi-final back in April, a game Rangers won, not many pundits are confident Rangers can get anything out of this fixture.
One such man is former Celtic player Chris Sutton.
Aston Villa’s Joleon Lescott goes off injured
He fears that Rangers will struggle for pace at the back against the pace Celtic now possess up front.
With new Rangers signing Philippe Senderos a big concern, especially as he was the club’s second choice.
Sutton wrote in the Daily Record:
“If Warburton is going to leave his centre-backs exposed to pace, he’ll be in trouble.
“You just can’t play your way or no way.

“Warburton might have to hang his hat on Philippe Senderos and that’s a problem as he obviously wanted Joleon Lescott and that move didn’t work out, so the Swiss was second choice.
“He’s also got recent injury issues but he needs to help the Rangers defence improve beyond all recognition and the evidence suggests they will need to.”
Rangers tried to sign Joleon Lescott on a free from Aston Villa. But the former England international was said to be unsure over moving his family to Glasgow as he was settled in Birmingham – and then signed for AEK Athens!

Mark Warburton therefore had to look elsewhere and brought the former Arsenal defender Senderos to Ibrox on a free.
The Swiss international has bags of experience but one thing he has never been blessed with is pace and against Celtic the fear is Rangers will be exposed for their sluggish defence.
Senderos and Rangers will be hoping the Swiss centre-back can prove the likes of Sutton wrong.
