Scott Sinclair hasn’t featured for Celtic that much this season.

Chris Sutton has backed Neil Lennon’s decision in not selecting Scott Sinclair for his matchday squads and stated that he’s the one who sees him ‘day in and day out’ in training.
Sinclair has played four matches for Celtic this season, but he has only played 11 minutes of Premiership football as he has seemingly dropped down the pecking order at Parkhead.
Last season, Sinclair started off the season in a poor fashion, but he enjoyed success towards the end before Brendan Rodgers left and when Lennon came in.
Speaking to BT Sports official Periscope account, Sutton shared his thoughts on Sinclair hardly featuring for the champions this season.
“I think that surprised a few that Lewis Morgan is ahead of him,” Sutton told BT Sport. “In his situation, Neil sees him train, day in, day out and will make the choice at the back of that.
“A lot of Celtic fans will say ‘flat-track bully’, whatever he was he scored a lot of goals last season. Is he a better option than Lewis Morgan? I sort of understand that.
“I think Lewis Morgan, bringing him on in the European ties, I don’t think that’s been overly inspiring. It’s for him to prove and for Sinclair to get the jersey back.”

Over the past few years, Sinclair’s goals and assists have played a huge part in the club being so dominant in Scotland.
The Englishmen has fallen down the pecking order, but with a big week lying in wait for the club, it remains to be seen whether the makes a return.
His experience and ability to win in such pressured environments could potentially see him make a return to Lennon’s matchday squad.
