Tam McManus has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Rangers’ win against St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Rangers maintained their strong start to the season with a 4-0 win against St. Johnstone away from home at McDiarmid Park in Perth.
After a goalless first half, Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos put Rangers in the lead in the 47th minute.
Connor Goldson doubled the advantage in the 61st minute, and then Bournemouth-owned striker Jermain Defoe found the net twice in quick succession late on.
Former Hibernian forward McManus, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, was following the match, and although he has said that Rangers deservedly won the match, he believes that there were two big decisions that went against the home team.
Chris Sutton was following the match as well, and the former Celtic striker has praised Rangers and Defoe for his goals.
The result means that Rangers remain three points behind bitter Old Firm rivals and league leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table.
