Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the failure of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers to win against Dundee on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers have played out a 1-1 draw with Dundee away from home in the Scottish Premiership.

Dundee took the lead after just nine minutes when former Rangers and Celtic striker Kenny Miller found the net.

The home team were reduced to 10 men on 20 minutes when Nathan Ralph was sent off for dangerous foul play, and Andy Halliday scored from the resulting free kick.

Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the defeat to Rangers.

Ex-Dundee forward Tam McManus has criticised the Gers for their disappointing display.

Over the course of the 90 minutes on Sunday afternoon, visitors Rangers had 55% of the possession, took six shots of which three were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.

The draw means that Rangers are now second in the Scottish Premiership table with 31 points from 16 matches, two points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 15 games.
