Chris Sutton and John Hartson have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Celtic’s defeat to Heart of Midlothian on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Hearts away from home at Tynecastle Park in Edinburgh in the Scottish Premiership.

The result saw Brendan Rodgers’s side stunning 69-game unbeaten run in domestic football in Scotland end.

The Glasgow giants were expected to win against Hearts, and the manner in which the Hoops fell apart came as a huge surprise.

Former Celtic strikers Sutton and Hartson have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the defeat for the Bhoys.

Sutton, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has suggested that the defeat to Hearts is a wake-up call for January, suggesting that Celtic need to sign players next month.

Meanwhile, Hartson, who works as a pundit for BT Sport, has reminded everyone of what Celtic have achieved during their run in one simple post on Twitter.
