Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have lost to Valencia.

Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the performance of Celtic against Valencia this evening.
Celtic have suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Valencia at Celtic Park in the first leg of their Europa League Round of 32.
Denis Cheryshev put the visiting team in the lead in the 42nd minute, and Ruben Sobrino doubled the advantage for the Spanish club in the 49th minute.
Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and he was not impressed with the performance of the Hoops and has given his take on Brendan Rodgers’s team on Twitter.
John Hartson was following the game, and the former Celtic striker was not impressed with the Hoops at all.
Hartson said on BT Sport 3 after the match at full time on Thursday evening (9:51pm, February 14, 2019): “They just looked really flat for me.”
The former Wales international added: “There were so many Celtic players just not there tonight. It was a really frustrating evening to watch it.”
