Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have won against Heart of Midlothian in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.

Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s win against Heart of Midlothian.
Celtic have got the better of Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup this afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Scott Sinclair put the Hoops in the lead on 53 minutes, before James Forrest and Ryan Christie found the target.
Former Celtic striker Sutton was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.
Sutton has also praised the performance of Christie, while former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie is delighted with the win for the Glasgow giants.

Over the course of the 90 minutes on Sunday afternoon, Hearts had 36% of the possession, took six shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Celtic had 64% of the possession, took 25 shots of which 10 were on target, and earned 14 corners, according to BBC Sport.
